Veneta Mineraria S.p.A. supports the fight against violence, the violation of human rights and environmental degradation in extracting and selling certain minerals in the geographical area defined as the "Conflict Region", which includes the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and its neighbouring countries. With this in mind, our company does not purchase minerals from these mines and has started a work process with its suppliers to ensure that minerals from the "Conflict Region" are not used. Veneta Mineraria S.p.A. fully supports this law and it intends to avoid the use of minerals that are not certified as "conflict free".

In particular, Veneta Mineraria S.p.A. supports a local non-profit organisation that provides healthcare in general for people and families in difficulty, especially by transporting sick, dependent or disabled people, to and from hospitals.
Veneta Mineraria S.p.A. also collaborates with local schools to allow the development of alternating school/work training programmes, giving secondary school students the opportunity to follow a training programme at our company.
